Epoxy resin is a versatile and reliable material for a wide range of applications, including resin art, woodworking, jewellery, resin casting, surface coatings, river tables, countertops and more.

All of the products we stock are designed to be the highest quality, each with their own characteristics. Epoxy Resin typically dries to a high gloss, crystal clear finish, allowing for excellent transparency and showcasing embedded objects or designs. Epoxy Resin is strong and forms a solid and durable bond between objects. It's UV resistant, self levelling and is heat resistant.

Dalchem Crystal Clear Resin - Is a casting epoxy resin is UV-resistant, but isn’t certified non-toxic. It’s a thicker formula which makes it easier to get good coverage on the sides of boards. Offering more heat-resistance, it is highly tolerant to temperatures up to 80 degrees. The Dalchem is a more cost effective option on the market, and in our testing, is the hardest once dry. The working time is also about 30 mins. Its great for Artworks, Coasters, Silicone Moulds, Doming and Timber + Resin pours.

TIP: If you would like it a bit thinner, simply warm it up. We have also conducted tests on how deep you can pour it in one single pour, and experienced minimal shrinkage at a depth of 2 cm. 

Art Resin - Art resin is an epoxy solution and is certified non-toxic, with excellent UV-resistance. It’s the thinnest of all the options we stock, perfect for artists that like the colours to move and blend more. Best used for Clear Coats and Wall Art.

It is one of the softest when dry - plus isn’t heat-resistant enough to have a hot cuppa on it (if you used it for coasters). The working time is about 45 mins, so you have a longer working time than other 1:1 Epoxy Resins. 

Uresin OceanCast - This is a Deep Pour Resin and is perfect for projects which include medium - large embeddings, Timber Slabs, Deep Pours and Large Mould Castings.

OceanCast is a 2:1 ratio by volume, it is a slow curing, deep casting epoxy resin where it has a very low viscosity and excellent bubble dispersion. This resin has been designed specifically for thick clear pours and has a high temperature resistance of up to 110 degrees (Celsius) once cured.
Once this resin has been mixed with its hardener, you have an incredible 280 minutes before it starts to set (@ 22 degrees Celsius) and can be poured clear between 50-100mm thick per layer. For a full cure allow 7- 14 days.

Total Cast - Best for users with skin sensitivities, used for artworks + jewellery. This epoxy casting resin is a polymer formula which has excellent UV stability and is certified non-toxic. You’ll get about 35 minutes to work with this resin and it's also VOC Free, Odour Free, Phenol Free and Solvent Free.

MasterCast - Ideal for Tumblers, Cheeseboard handles, Doming and artworks. Master Cast is another non-toxic and UV-resistant epoxy resin that is slightly cheaper than Total Cast. Your design won’t move as much with this consistency as it's thicker and the working time is about 30 mins.

UltraCast XT - Ultra Cast XT is a 2:1 product that has been specifically formulated to have a long working time (60mins) and be very temperature-resistant (95 degrees). Perfect for works like Jewellery, Coasters, embedded designs and more.

UV Resin - Our New and Improved UV resin formula sets really hard with no tackiness and is super clearer once dry. UV resin is a water based product that is excellent for making Jewellery, doming, coatings and clear coats on items like broaches and pins. It only takes a minute or 2 under a 5w UV torch or in direct sunlight so it is a very fast medium to work with.

If you're adding colour - only add the tinniest amount - if the UV light can't get through to set the resin then it will stay tacky.
