Abstract Painting Workshop with Mary-Lin Litchfield

Enjoy abstract painting through colour & feeling workshop.

Join Mary-lin and explore how the wonders of colour can express feelings in a natural way through painting. Participants will explore their artistic side and experiment with colour and painting techniques to develop their own individual abstract canvas to take home.

The facilitator is local abstract artist Mary Lin Litchfield, who will share a little of her own work with you and then facilitate the first experiments with colour, texture, and shape. These experiments will build with feeling to develop the colour palette and individual rhythms, forms and marks on your painting.

This is a progressive and enjoyable workshop where you will create artistic results in a relaxed and supportive environment.  

All materials are provided including aprons & pre work materials for you to explore before you create an abstract final piece on a double thick cotton stretched canvas.

TIME: 10am - 4pm (Time can be a flexible finish.)
