Vic Ash Floating Frame with Primed Art Board - Square/Rectangle
Our Vic Ash floating frame with Primed Art Board is handmade right here in Melbourne in our Bayswater warehouse from a single piece of solid Victorian Ash timber, not veneer.
Our timber Floating Frames have a side depth of 55mm with a 10mm wide front face, giving them a fantastic solid look. Having a deep framing profile gives us the ability to put different spacers in to raise or lower art boards or canvas in the floating frame if you use thick mediums on the surface and need the surface recessed further.
The frame comes with 4 removable screws allowing you to complete your artwork and then attach the frame so that you don't contaminate the frame surface.
Our Primed art boards are double primed on the top and sides with a light sand in between coats to get the best possible finish, meaning you can get creating with no further preparation. These Primed art panels are perfect for all types of mediums including Alcohol Ink, acrylics, oils, watercolours, flow mediums and other mixed media. These primed boards are what we use in our workshops as they are solid and sturdy enough for pouring resin and will not sag, therefore preventing the resin from pooling. The sides are sanded to a smooth finish so you almost can’t tell where the top timber meets the frame timbers and the top edge has a 3mm rounded edge.
